<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and miniaturize the constitution; to uniformly and smoothly supply a raw fuel being circulated; and to improve the reforming efficiency and durability by uniformizing the space velocity. <P>SOLUTION: In a reforming apparatus 40, the inside of a cylindrical body 70 is partitioned into a first chamber 74a, a second chamber 74b, and a third chamber 74c by partition plates 72a, 72b, and 72c. A first honeycomb catalyst part 80a, a second honeycomb catalyst part 80b, and a third honeycomb catalyst part 80c are provided in the first chamber 74a, the second chamber 74b, and the third chamber 74c, respectively, and at the same time, a plurality of raw fuel passages 78a, 78b and 78c constituting the first honeycomb catalyst part 80a, the second honeycomb catalyst part 80b, and the third honeycomb catalyst part 80c, respectively, are set so that the total of the cross-sectional areas of flow passages becomes constant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
