<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a sensor that is simple in structure and highly durable to detect a pressure difference between before and after a filter, and accurately measure the pressure difference between before and after the filter, in an exhaust emission control system for a diesel engine. <P>SOLUTION: Every time a starting process of the diesel engine 2 is performed, before the diesel engine 2 is started, differences between respective detection values P1 and P2 of first and second pressure sensors 21 and 22 and a predetermined reference value Pref are calculated and stored as first and second correction values ΔP1 and ΔP2. The pressure difference P12 between before and after a DPF 4 is calculated by using the detection values of the first and second pressure sensors 21 and 22 and the first and second correction values ΔP1 and ΔP2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
