<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact structure of a shield case capable of ensuring electrical continuity over the entire circumference of the shield case. <P>SOLUTION: When an optical connector housing 4 is covered with the shield case 5 during assembly of the shield case 5, in the overlapping portion 15 of the shield case 5, the lower overlapping portion 17 of the shield case 5 is pressed upward by the pressing piece 13 of the optical connector housing 4. Consequently, the lower overlapping portion 17 is pressed against an upper overlapping portion 16. The upper overlapping portion 16 and lower overlapping portion 17 come into contact with each other and the shield case 5 secures electrical continuity over its entire circumference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
