PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform channel search by notifying the existence of a broadcast signal, by generating an interrupt signal. SOLUTION: A circuit 80 for channel search detects the existence of a broadcast signal from a received signal. Then, the circuit 80 generates an interrupt signal when it detects the broadcast signal, and does not generate the interrupt signal, when it can not detect the broadcast signal. Thus, an external processor 50 for control can detect the existence of the broadcast signal, on the basis of whether the interrupt signal is transmitted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
