PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing assistance sheet and an inkjet image printing method to a leather strip. SOLUTION: The printing assistance sheet 1 for transmitting the paper feeding action by an inkjet printer to the leather strip is equipped with both a base sheet 10 comprised of a plastic sheet of a standard paper size, and a plurality of pockets 12, ... arranged on the base sheet. The base sheet is formed by holding a graph paper 11 between two laminated films and passing through a laminator. The pockets are formed by cutting a surface other than press bonding parts of a hard film whose periphery is thermally press bonded while overlapped with the base sheet, perpendicularly to a paper feeding direction at predetermined intervals into a plurality of parallel bands, and by thermally press-bonding a side on the side far from the center of the base sheet of each band to the base sheet to form a closed side while preventing a side on the side near the center of each band from being press-bonded to form an open side.
