PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can print again an image corresponding to a printing job when the printing job is canceled, and to provide its printing method. SOLUTION: The printer is equipped with a subqueue 102 which holds the printing job received from a computer 10, a first control part 103 which sequentially reads printing data included in the printing job held in the subqueue 102, a printing queue 104 which holds the printing data read by the first control part 103, a second control part 105 which sequentially takes out the printing data held by the printing queue 104, and a printing part 106 which prints the image corresponding to the printing data taken out by the second control part 105.
