PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent plate unit having a transparent plate and a holding frame capable of being easily disassembled, allowing separation of waste materials to promote global environment protection, and a game machine equipped with the unit. SOLUTION: The transparent plate unit 1 has two (a plurality of) transparent plates 11a, 11b, a soft resin holding frame 13 which holds edges 12a, 12b of the transparent plates 11a, 11b together and a metal clip 15 which is elastic and is detachably attached to the holding frame 13. The holding frame 13 has both outer side sections 39a, 39b and an inside section 41 located between both outer side sections in a unit, and each of the two outer side sections 39, 39 and the inner side section 41 hold transparent plates 11, 11 individually, the clip 15 pinches the holding frame 13 from both outer sides and the transparent plate 11 is fixed to the holding frame 13.
