PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose ester-based composite yarn having a silky tone bulky feeling and unconventional glossy feeling and having little development of fluffs, and its woven or knitted fabric. SOLUTION: This composite yarn 8 consists of plural filament yarns containing the cellulose ester-based filament yarn 1 having a single fiber elongation of 30% or more, and forming loops by the cellulose ester-based filament yarn on the surface of the composite yarn, and the woven or knitted fabric consisting of the composite yarns is also provided. The composite yarn is obtained by excessively supplying the plural filament yarns containing the cellulose ester-based multifilament yarn having a high degree of elongation to a fiber-combining and entangling nozzle such as an interlacing nozzle, etc., within the range of more than 0 to less than 20% for performing the fiber-combining and entangling treatment.
