The machine (1) has a horizontal machine longitudinal axis, a die platen (5) arranged in a direction of the machine longitudinal axis and another die platen (4). A mold is clamped between the platens. A part of the mold forming a cavity is arranged right-angle to the longitudinal axis during injection of melt into the cavity. The part of the mold is arranged in a horizontal plane. An arm (6) is provided for extending right-angle to the machine longitudinal axis in the horizontal plane, where the part of the mold is stored in the arm in a displaceable manner. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for operation of an injection molding machine (2) a control for an injection molding machine.
