The dryer (20) has a housing (21) e.g. rod-shaped housing, with a filtering drying agent insert (40) for filtering and drying a refrigerant arranged at an inner side of the housing between an inlet opening and outlet opening. The insert has a housing region (43), which has a larger diameter than a housing region (44). An inlet opening (24) of the housing is arranged in a lower or middle region of the housing, and an outlet opening (25) of the housing is arranged in an upper region of the housing. An undercool-tunnel is arranged in an upper region of a refrigerant condenser (10).
