A mother material-protecting film is provided to prevent the separation after being adhered to the surface of the mother material, and to ensure excellent durability and abrasion resistance. A mother material-protecting film with excellent abrasion resistance comprises a mother material and a film formed by applying a composition for protecting the surface of the mother material. The composition is a mixture of a polymer formed with a monomer of C=C-C(=O)-O-[C]n-Si-O(wherein n is an integer of 1-10); a crosslinking agent cross-linking the polymer; a polymerization initiator generating a radical with light or heat; and organic solvent dissolving each component.
