<p>The barrel has an open upper end with a device (20) designed to keep a radial distance between barrels which have closed lids (2) and are transported side by side. At least two circumferentially spaced carrying handle devices (30) are provided on the container body at an axial distance from an upper closure edge (10). The spacer device is mounted in the axial space between the upper closure edge and carrying handle device. The barrel body is cylindrical but slightly conical so that with the lids removed the barrels can be stacked up when empty.</p> |
