<p>A padlock comprising a lock body (1) and basically a U-shaped shackle (2) therein, which shackle is movable between a position, in which it is locked into the lock body, and a released position, in which it is partially protruded from the lock body, and a key-actuated cylinder lock mechanism (4) fitted into a cavity (8) in the lock body (1) and provided with turnable locking discs (5), which cylinder lock mechanism is arranged via a turnable force transmission means (10) to act on bolt members (9), which are functionally connected to the shackle (2), for locking and releasing the shackle (2). The lock cylinder (6) of the cylinder lock mechanism (4) comprises a control member (6a), which is arranged to act directly on said force transmission means (10) for turning it to the position releasing the boltmembers (9). The turning of the force transmission means (10) back to the position locking the bolt members (9) is arranged by a spring (12), which is adapted to be loaded by means of the lock cylinder (6) so that it is turned by a key of the lock to the position locking the lock mechanism (4).</p> |
