<p>A shrinkage measuring method is a method for measuring the shrinkage of a hologram recording medium which includes an object light applying step of applying object light to the hologram recording medium and a reference light applying step of applying reference light to the hologram recording medium such that the reference light crosses the object light in the hologram recording medium to form an interference fringe. The shrinkage measuring method comprises a storage step of storing first position data indicating the position of the object light on a multi-division detector in a memory and a step of obtaining, from the first position data stored in the memory and second position data indicating the position of diffraction light on the multi-division detector when the reference light is applied to the interference fringe of the hologram recording medium and the diffraction light from the interference fringe is received, a displacement between the object light and the diffraction light and deriving the shrinkage in the surface direction of the recording medium from an arithmetic expression using the displacement as a parameter.</p> |
