<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of abnormal sound by preventing shakiness between the main body of a case and a cover member in an electric connection box where the cover member is put on the main body of the case in a sliding manner. <P>SOLUTION: The electric connection box includes the cover member which is put on the main body of the case in a sliding manner from one end of the rear end in the length direction of the bottom face of the main body of the case toward the front. On the external surface of both sidewalls of the main body of the case, protruding rail portions are formed and protruding locking pins are formed at the front ends of the rail portions. Meanwhile, on the internal surface of both sidewalls of the cover member, protruding guide portions which slide along the upper and lower surfaces of the rail portions are formed and engagement grooves into which the engagement pins are to be inserted and locked are also formed. The cover member includes: a tilting wall which tilts upward continuously from the rear end of the bottom wall of the cover member; an externally fitted wall which protrudes upward from the upper edge of the tilting wall and is externally fitted on the rear wall of the main body of the case; and ribs protruding upward from the internal surface of the tilting wall. The ribs are pushed against the internal surface of the rear wall and bottom face of the main body of the case beyond the rear wall of the main body of the case to hold the rear wall of the main body of the case with the ribs of the cover member and the externally fitted wall and eliminate a gap between the cover member and the main body of the case to prevent shakiness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
