ANTI-THEFT DEVICE OF VEHICLE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent vehicle theft by properly setting the timing of switching to the locked state of a steering in an anti-theft device of the vehicle in which the locked/unlocked state of the steering is changed over by an electric motor.

SOLUTION: If an ignition switch is not turned off (NO in S2) when an engine stop state is detected by an ECU (YES in S1), the anti-theft device of the vehicle operates the electric motor to lock the steering (executes the processing of S5) after a specific time passes after the stop state is detected (YES in S8).
