PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving convenience in inspecting a gas detector.

SOLUTION: The gas detecting system for detecting a predetermined gas existing in a predetermined space includes a gas concentration detecting section for detecting a concentration of the predetermined gas, and a determining section for determining whether the gas concentration detected in the gas concentration detecting section is above a predetermined threshold, wherein the determining section uses a threshold for inspection instead of the predetermined threshold when an instruction to inspect the gas concentration detecting section is input into the determining section.
