PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera with a lens adaptor, capable of attaching even for a non-dedicated lens other than the dedicated lens onto the body of the camera, and which is usable as an autofocusing lens. SOLUTION: This camera with the lens adaptor is constituted of the body 1 of the autofocusing-type camera, provided with a focusing motor in the camera body, a lens adaptor 2 attached to a lens mount of the body 1, and the nondedicated lens 3 connected to the lens adaptor 2. The lens adaptor 2 comprises a barrel part, a movable cylinder stored telescopically into the barrel and moving along the lens-axis direction by the motor, and a screw part for connecting the non-dedicated lens 3 is provided in the tip part of the movable cylinder.
