PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration of an outer magnetic electrodynamic electroacoustic transducer having a simple structure, which is thin and excellent in pronunciation efficiency, and which has a good productivity, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: An electrodynamic electroacoustic transducer has a yoke in which two permanent magnet bars are arranged in parallel outside a voice coil which is held on a vibration plate whose rims are fixed and which has two straight sides. The yoke has an outer edge placed outside the permanent magnet bars, a middle part covering an upper surface except at least the center part of the vibration plate, and an inner edge having a cross sectional shape drooping toward inside the voice coil. The electrodynamic electroacoustic transducer also has a frame-shaped member having a thickness in contact with an inner surface of the outer edge of the yoke and each outer surface of the permanent magnet bars. Each permanent magnet bar is fixed to the inner surface of the frame-shaped member. When assembled, the permanent magnet bars are preliminarily fixed to the frame-shaped member.
