PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance information detection device capable of calculating distance information on an object in image data by one-time imaging. SOLUTION: The distance information detection device 20A includes: an image sensor camera 1 including an imaging lens 11 for condensing light from the object PX, a micro lens array 12 for receiving the light from the imaging lens 11, and an imaging element 13 for imaging the object PX via the micro lens array 12; and an image processing part 4A. The image processing part 4A includes: an edge detection part 41A for detecting an edge part of an image imaged by the imaging element 13; a distribution state detection part 42A for detecting the distribution state of a pixel value of the edge part of the detected image on the imaging element 13; and a distance detection part 43A for detecting the distance information for the edge part from the imaging element 13 on the basis of the detected distribution state.
