PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fan capable of improving capacity for blasting air to the distance by increasing initial speed at a neighborhood of an electric fan and reducing a movable range by excluding a space of an inside of an impeller from the movable range of the impeller. SOLUTION: Since a main plate 11 and a side plate 13 provided at both ends have a straightening effect, generation of disturbance and swirl at an axial direction end part of an outer circumference of the impeller 12 can be inhibited to increase wind speed. Since no movable part exists at the inside, air flow is not disturbed and the inside can be used as a space for providing other functions.
