PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component capable of regulating rotation of a bobbin against a core for sure. SOLUTION: Three rotation regulating pieces 44 are provided with an equal space in parallel to a short side at the center of a pair of long side in a substantially rectangular insulating base 40, and provided upright on a flange opposing side 41 with shapes of substantially quadrangular prisms. The side of the rotation regulating piece 44 is formed as a flat surface 44A. The flat surface 44A of the rotation regulating piece 44 is brought into contact with the flange flat surface 22C to disable rotation of a bobbin 20 around the long side 12 of a core, when a hook is engaged into the hook-engaging through-hole of a flange 22. The core, the bobbin 20, and a conducting wire 30 are fixedly supported to the insulating base 40 without using an adhesive agent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
