PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring out the opening motion of an opening and closing body in a shorter period of inflow time when the opening and closing body makes the opening motion by the inflow of a fluid from a fire hose in an emergency etc. SOLUTION: This opening and closing equipment comprises: the opening and closing body 10 which can make the closing motion by being paid out from a storage section 31; an urging member 32a for urging the opening and closing body 10 in such a manner that it can make the opening motion; a braking mechanism 42 for restraining the opening and closing body 10 in such a manner that it cannot be opened/closed or releasing the restrained state of the opening and closing body; and an inflow releasing means 60 for performing the release operation of the braking mechanism 42 by the pressure of the fluid flowing into an inflow port 61a1. The release operation of the braking mechanism 42 is performed by the inflow releasing means 60, so that the opening and closing body 10 can make the opening motion by the urging force of the urging member 32a.
