An interactive information output device capable of providing information desired by a user without making the user feel a stress. On the basis of a request acquired by interaction with the user according to a predetermined scenario, the interactive information output device judges whether it is required to acquire information corresponding to the request from an external storage device (external server). When required, the information output device acquires the corresponding information from the predetermined external storage device. Until the corresponding information is acquired, the scenario is interrupted and interaction with the user is performed according to another scenario. After another scenario mentioned is completed, the interrupted scenario is started again and the corresponding information acquired from the external storage device is reflected to the scenario to be outputted to a user terminal. |
