The invention relates to a method for storing multimedia files which comprises the steps of (A) detecting a connection of a first multimedia files storing device to a computing system; (B) displaying multimedia files comprised in said first storing device; (C) obtaining at least one of the multimedia files from the first storing device; and (D) storing the obtained multimedia files in a second storing device.
