An impedance matching method and the apparatus for steadily operating in the pulse mode is provided to dependently operate in the pulse mode or the continuous mode even if the separate trigger signal is not input to the matching system from the RF power. The electric apparatus(100) is comprised of the load(101), the power source(102) supplying the military power to subordinate, and the transmission line and matching system(104). The power source is connected to the input terminal(N1, N2) on the transmission line. And the load is connected to the load terminal(N3, N4) on the transmission line. The matching system comprises the variable reactive device which changeably can control the reactance for the impedance matching of the electric apparatus.
