A data input device using wireless local area communication is provided to overcome limit of generating coordinate information by using a physical property change between two spots by using a motion sensor. A data input device(100) using wireless communication comprises a location information generator(200) and a computer(300). The location information generator comprises a motion sensor(210), a button unit(230) and the first wireless local communication apparatus(220). The motion sensor generates location information by sensing its motion. The first wireless local communication apparatus transceives location information and a button signal. The computer comprises the second wireless local communication apparatus(310), an interface circuit(320) and a data processing unit(330). The second wireless local communication apparatus receives the location information and button signal. The data processing unit receives and processes the received location information and button signal.
