<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital gradation system semiconductor display device wherein the area of a driving circuit is decreased, driving frequency is decreased, and resolution is made high. <P>SOLUTION: In a driving circuit of a digital gradation system semiconductor display device, a source signal line group is divided into a plurality of groups and one set of D/A conversion circuit is provided for each group and, by the one set of D/A conversion circuit, a plurality of source signal lines are driven in a time-division manner. Further, the D/A conversion circuit has a first D/A conversion circuit for performing D/A conversion of high order bits and a second D/A conversion circuit for performing D/A conversion of low order bits. Further, in order to decrease the driving frequency, the source signal line group is divided into two groups to be driven in parallel, namely, one group is driven by a first source driver and the other group is driven by a second source driver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
