<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface with satisfactory operability for a visually impaired person. <P>SOLUTION: Positions of a user's fingers to be placed on a touch panel are detected and buttons to be used for selection of functions, etc. are provided at the detected positions. Thus, the user having visual impairment is enabled to perform an operations even without memorizing positions of the buttons and in addition, user interface environment with satisfactory operability for the visually impaired person is provided without using special components by providing the buttons so as to correspond to the positions of the user's fingers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
