<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner showing excellent dispersion of wax in toner particles and improved in the toner deposition and offset on a fixing member which is deteriorated with time due to a long-time use. SOLUTION: The toner contains at least a binder resin, a coloring agent and wax and has the following properties. (a) The dielectric loss tangent of the toner shows the maximum in the temperature range from 90 to 125 deg.C and the maximum of the dielectric loss tangent ranges from 6.0×10-2 to 10.0×10-2. (b) The DSC curve with increase in the temperature of the toner measured by a differential scanning calorimeter(DSC) has at least one endothermic peak or a shoulder in the temperature range from 85 to 140 deg.C. (c) The binder resin contains a hybrid resin containing vinyl polymer units and polyester units.</p> |
