PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for preventing degradation of resolution in a camera apparatus by estimating degradation of a lens MTF from every plurality of images obtained by a camera and correcting the degradation. SOLUTION: A first image is obtained by focusing on a specific focal distance, second image data are obtained by changing the focal distance with the same angle of field as that in first photography, an ideal lens MTF is predicted from the first and second images and corrected by image processing.
