PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire winder capable of accurately winding a wire around a bobbin by adjusting a traverse inversion position. SOLUTION: This wire winder 100 includes: a traverse section 131; a traverse inversion timing detector 740 detecting timing of inverting the traverse section 131; a traverse inversion timing position storage device 761 storing the position of the traverse section 131 when the traverse inversion timing detector 740 detects the timing of inverting the traverse section 131; a display device 762 displaying the position of the traverse section; a correction data input device 782 correcting storage data in the traverse inversion timing position storage device 761; a corrected inversion position calculation device 780 calculating a corrected inversion position; a corrected inversion position storage device 781; a selection and changeover device 770; and a traverse control section 732.
