PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor chain with a long life used for a spiral drum drive type conveying device, and capable of flexibly coping with a change of a width direction; and a conveyor chain conveying device using it. SOLUTION: Multiple connected conveying modules are driven by a spiral drum, and this conveyor chain circulates and conveys conveyed articles located on conveying surfaces of the conveying modules along a predetermined conveying path. A running introduction pawl projecting toward and engaged with the screw drum is provided on a chain rear surface constituted by the conveying modules, and a pair of symmetrical right and left drum contact faces are provided in a direction orthogonal to a traveling direction of the conveying module, which solves the problem.
