PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing machine capable of inexpensively and easily performing a functional test of a buffer. SOLUTION: The testing machine E1 for attaining the purpose has: a supporting pedestal 1 connected to the lower end of the buffer D for supporting the buffer D in a standing state; a locking means 2 at least for blocking the contraction of the buffer D and enabling an allowance of the elongation/contraction of the buffer D; and a sheet 3 to be fixed on the top part of the buffer D.
