PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glow plug wherein an electrically insulating columned conductor holder is irremovably held in a cylindrical housing. SOLUTION: A conductor wire holder 600 is engaged with a tip side annular wall portion 135 of an annular inner raised portion 134 of a basic end-side cylindrical member 130 at an annular step portion 631 of a holder body 610. A grommet 700 is fitted into a basic end-side opening portion 132 of the basic end-side cylindrical member 130, and seated on a basic end face of the conductor wire holder 600. An electrode lead 525 of an electrode member 522 of a combustion pressure sensor 500 and a terminal member 350 for a heater member are connected, at their tip end portions, with tip end portions of external coated conductor wires 800, 810 for the sensor and the heater member respectively in corresponding conductor wire connection hole portions 612 of the conductor wire holder 600.
