FUEL PUMP MOUNTING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost fuel pump mounting structure capable of reducing number of components and man-hour for mounting and of easily mounting a fuel pump without play. SOLUTION: The fuel pump mounting structure is provided with; a fuel tank 1 storing fuel; the fuel pump 10 mounted in the fuel tank 1; a pump mounting hole 6 formed in a wall surface of a fuel tank 1 and on which the fuel pump 10 is mounted via a seal member 33; a flange 13 provided on a cylindrical portion of the fuel pump 10; a plurality of engaging pieces 17 disposed on the pump mounting hole 6; and an engaging portion 25 on the cylindrical portion of the fuel pump 10. The fuel pump 10 is engaged with the fuel tank 1 by clamping the engaging piece 17 between the flange 13 and the engaging portion 25. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
