PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit type building simplified in work at a building site, in a unit type building including a garage unit of a type at least partially buried in the ground. SOLUTION: In the garage unit 20a constituting a garage 15, columns 21 are arranged at its four corners, respectively, and lower and upper ends of the respective columns 21 are connected by means of four floor beams 22 and four ceiling beams 23. A lower section of the garage unit 20a is buried in the ground, so that its floor beam 22 can be prevented from being exposed upward from a ground surface GL. An intermediate beam 24 for connecting the two columns 21 adjacent to each other is provided between the floor beam 22 and the ceiling beam 23. The intermediate beam 24 is exposed above the ground surface GL and a garage floor surface 35, and a wall body is mounted on the intermediate beam 24 and the ceiling beam 23.
