PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-washing treatment method/system of incineration ash which enables diminishing of its chlorine concentration to the level suitable for reuse without making equipment oversized, by water-washing the incineration ash efficiently. SOLUTION: In the water-washing treatment system for removing chlorine from the incineration ash by water-washing treatment, a classification device 1 for classifying the incineration ash 30 into a large particle dia. ash 31 and a small particle dia. ash 32, is arranged in the first stage of water-washing treatment facilities. In addition, a large particle dia. ash water-washing treatment facilities to which the large particle dia. ash 31 is to be supplied and a small particle dia. ash water-washing treatment facilities to which the small particle dia. ash 32 is to be supplied, are arranged. Besides, the large particle dia. ash water-washing treatment facilities are equipped with a large particle dia. ash washing vessel 2 in which the large particle dia. ash 31 is to be roughly washed only with washing water 33, while the small particle dia. water-washing treatment facilities are equipped with a washing vessel 6 in which the small particle dia. ash 32 is to be roughly washed only with washing water 36. On top of that, the small particle dia. ash water-washing treatment facilities are equipped with a wet mill 10 for precisely washing the roughly washed small particle dia. ash 32 with washing water 39, while chemically or physically dispersing or crushing the small particle dia. ash 32.
