The arrangement has a master cylinder (1) comprising a pressure chamber that is formed in a housing (2). An adjustable piston is movable in the pressure chamber. A U-shaped retaining clip (8) is provided for the delimitation of the extract movement of the piston, where the clip works together with a piston-sided stopper. The clip is connectable with the housing as a housing-sided stopper. The clip is held in recesses (13, 13', 14, 14') of the housing. Two sides (11, 12) of the clip form the housing-sided stopper for the piston.
