#CMT# #/CMT# The container (1) has a receptacle (3) made of a hard material for retaining an impact-sensitive cargo that is supported within a base container (2) in a vibration damped manner. The receptacle is flexibly coupled with the base container at two opposite sides by two spring elements (5) i.e. flexible spring bars. The receptacle is separated from the base container by a circular recess (4). The base container is made of the hard material, where the packing container is manufactured by a deep-drawing process. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Packing container for storing and transporting an impact-sensitive cargo e.g. impact sensitive electronic and/or electro-mechanical circuit and/or component (claimed) such as acceleration sensor and controller. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The packing container can be manufactured with small manufacturing tolerances for optimal adaptation to the external shape of the impact-sensitive cargo. The packing container has improved damping characteristics for protecting the impact-sensitive cargo against impacts and collision during transport, thus reducing the force transmitted from the base container to the receptacle, and hence protecting cargo from damage. The packing container enables automatic handling during the packing of the cargo.
