The invention relates to elements designed to indicate if a bottle has been tampered with, suitable for screw and non-screw bottles, as well as to the associated method. The aforementioned elements include: at least one adjustment element which connects the elements to the bottle by means of a flange; at least one flow-control component housed inside the adjustment element and fixed in relation thereto, said flow control including one part which can regulate the flow of liquid and at least one bridge which joins the flow-regulating part to the wall of the flow-control component; at least one security seal housed inside the flow-control component and joined thereto, said seal including at least one flange on the upper part thereof; and at least one push means which pushes the flange on the upper part of the seal when the bottle cap is rotated.
