PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search a guiding route with which a user can travel through the section designated by the user regardless of road data, in accordance with rules designated by the user. SOLUTION: When a starting point and an end point are designated as passage points in a specified section by using a plurality of memory points that are registered with off-road information added, a route search device sets up such a route as travelling to connect by a straight line the starting point and the end point in the specified section (S310), and searches such a guiding route as including the specified section (S312). When all or a part of the specified travel history registered as the specified section is designated as a passage section in a search condition, the route search device sets up such a route as travelling along the specified travel track in the specified section (S318), and searches such a guiding route as including the specified section (S320).
