<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine capable of executing the presentation equivalent to the conventional successive advance notice presentation without executing determination of variation memory information before the start of pattern variation based on the variation memory information. <P>SOLUTION: This pinball game machine has a plurality of variation patterns comprising specific single variation patterns 1-4 and double variation patterns 6-8. Each single variation pattern consists of one variation cycle in which a ready-to-win presentation appears. Each double variation pattern consists of a plurality of variation cycles with a jackpot game state appearing only in the final variation cycle and the ready-to-win presentation appearing in every variation cycle. A variation pattern selecting means selects the specific single variation patterns 1-4 when a prescribed condition is established over a plurality of successive times of pattern variation after the establishment, and selects the double variation patterns 6-8 when the pattern variation resulting in a jackpot is started and the prescribed condition is established.
