PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid body for a ceiling inspection port wherein a lid-backing material and a lid-finishing material are easy to be supported to an inner frame member and the danger of coming off of the lid-backing material and the lid-finishing material is reduced while the danger due to an exposure of a tip end of a mounting screw is avoided. SOLUTION: An inner frame U surrounding peripheral edges is formed by framing inner frame members 1 of a predetermined height and having a thin and narrow cross section in a square shape. To a smooth inner side face of each inner frame member, an elongated support member 4, which is composed of a vertical protruded edge 6 and a lateral protruded edge 5 connected in a L-shape, is respectively connected. Furthermore, a lower peripheral edge of a lid backing material 2 is placed on each lateral protruded edge of the support member while a low raising strip 8a and a high raising strip 8b are provided on each vertical protruded edge of the support member. Hereby, an upper peripheral edge of the lid backing material is retained by a lower edge 9 of the respective bending raising strip and also a lid finishing material is housed within the inner frame located below each support member.
