PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption by improving the heating efficiency of a heating resistor, and to improve the strength of a substrate of the lower part of the heating resistor. SOLUTION: A heating resistor element component is equipped with a plurality of heating resistors 4 of nearly square shape which are alternately arranged on an insulated coating 3 laminated on a support substrate along with the main scan direction, a common wiring 5a connected to one ends of these heating resistors 4, respectively, an individual wiring 5b connected to other ends of the heating resistors 4, respectively, and a recess 8 formed in the area facing the heating resistors 4. The array pitch of the heating resistors 4 in the sub scan direction is made larger than the array pitch of the heating resistors 4 in the main scan direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
