In a method for the computer-aided ascertainment of at least one property of a hair colouration based on a formulation comprising chemically reactive raw materials and optionally additionally unreactive raw materials when using chemically reactive formulations, information about chemically reactive formulations is supplied to a predetermined model, the predetermined model describing a map of information about chemically reactive formulations onto at least one property of an appropriate hair colouration from a multiplicity of previously ascertained hair colourations. The predetermined model is used to ascertain the at least one property of the result of a hair colouration when using the chemically reactive formulations.
