A liquid crystal display device is provided to minimize the friction between a liquid crystal panel and an optical sheet by forming a protrusion part which has a slow slope on at least one surface of a panel mounting unit formed in a support main which supports the liquid crystal panel, thereby preventing the damage on the liquid crystal panel, the wrinkle and scratch. A liquid crystal panel(100) displays an image by controlling transmissivity of the liquid crystal. A backlight unit radiates the light on the liquid crystal panel. A support main(118) supports the liquid crystal panel and backlight unit. The support main has a protrusion part which is bent in order to prevent the central part of the liquid crystal panel from drooping, and a mounting part on which the liquid crystal panel is rested. The height of the protrusion part is 0.1mm or greater.
