<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an air conditioner as a whole by making a humidity adjustment unit as small as possible. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner 1 has a humidity adjustment unit 2 for adjusting the humidity of air and a temperature adjustment unit 8 for adjusting the temperature of the air. The humidity adjustment unit 2 has a casing 20 for humidity adjustment, first and second adsorption heat exchangers 14, 15 for adjusting the humidity of air in the casing 20 for humidity adjustment, and an electric unit 19 for humidity adjustment. The temperature adjustment unit 8 has a casing 80 for temperature adjustment juxtaposed to the casing 20 for humidity adjustment and also has a heat exchanger 94 for temperature adjustment received in the casing 80 for temperature adjustment and adjusting the temperature of air.
