摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a patterned thin film or making a polymer composite of carbon nanotubes by introducing oxirane or anhydride groups into the surfaces of carbon nanotubes by a chemical process and photocuring or heat-curing the surface-modified carbon nanotubes. <P>SOLUTION: A negative pattern of carbon nanotubes is formed by introducing oxirane or anhydride groups capable of taking part in cationic polymerization into the surfaces of carbon nanotubes; dispersing the surface-modified carbon nanotubes, together with a photoacid or photobase generator, in an organic solvent; coating a substrate with the resulting coating liquid; exposing to UV through a photomask; inducing cationic polymerization of the carbon nanotubes in an exposed part; and removing an unexposed part with a developer. A carbon nanotube polymer composite is made by dispersing the surface-modified carbon nanotubes, together with a heat curing agent, in an organic solvent; coating a substrate with the resulting coating liquid; and heat-curing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
