<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning device capable of preventing impairment of filtering effects caused by the irradiation of an antibody filter with ultraviolet rays and preventing reduction of the air volume. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaning device 10 decomposes organic substances with a photocatalyst. The air cleaning device 10 includes a case body 11 having an air intake part 21 for taking in air into the interior and an air discharge part 23 for feeding out air to the outside; a blowing part 16 for blowing air to a channel formed between the air intake part 21 and the air discharge part 23; photocatalytic filters 12a and 12b having layers including the photocatalyst and disposed in the channel; an irradiation part 14 for irradiating the photocatalytic filters 12a and 12b with light; and the antibody filter 15 including a harmful substance removing material carrying an antibody in a carrier and disposed in the channel. The air cleaning device also has shading members 42 which permit flow of air and which are disposed in such a state that a plurality of shading plates 52a and 54a to shade passage of light are inclined at the same angle as seen in the direction of the flow of air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
